How to be happier
Few tips to help you be happier, more in control, and able to control better with life’s ups and downs:-
Use humor and enjoy yourself: - Try to see the funny side of situations and you’ll be able to cope better, doing things that you enjoy is also good for your emotional wellbeing, try to avoid thing’s that seem enjoyable at the time but make you feel worse afterwards.
Boost your self esteem:- Self esteem is the way you feel about yourself, the best way to improve your self esteem is to treat yourself as you would treat yourself as you would treat a valued friend in a positive but honest way, notice when you’re putting yourself down, such as thinking, tell yourself something positive.
Get enough sleep: - Around seven to eight hours is the average amount of sleep an adult needs for their body and mind to fully rest. Writing a to do list for the next day before bed can organise your thoughts and clear your mind of any distractions.
Talk and share: - Communication is important, whether it’s with a friend, or family member, talking things through helps you to release tension, rather than keeping it inside, it helps strengthen your relationships and connect with people.
Build your connectivity:- Connectivity with people allows you to cope with life’s ups and downs. Making something worthwhile out of painful time’s help your worth grows. Starting a support group to help others, or making something creative for-ex-writing, painting, or singing, can help you express pain and get through hard times, don’t withdraw from life, some people can lose their confidence about going out, driving or traveling, if this starts to happen, facing up to these situations will help them become easier.
Have a routine: - When people feel down, they can get into poor sleep patterns, staying up late and sleeping during the day, try to get up at normal time and stick to your routine as much as possible, not having a routine can affect your routine.
Improve your mental well being: - Feeling happy is a part of mental well being, felling of enjoyment, confidence, and engagement are all part of mental well being.
It can help to think about being well as sometimes you do. The more you put in, the more you are likely to get out, no one can give well being to you, and it’s you who has to take action.
Be mindful: - Be more aware of the present moment, including your thoughts and feelings, your body and world around you, some people call this awareness mindfulness”, it can positively change the way you feel about life and how you approach challenges.
Reminding yourself to take notice of your thoughts, feelings, body sensations and the world around you is the first step to mindfulness.
